Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items.
• Support the culinary team in setting up and breaking down buffet stations or catering events.
• Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service to enhance guest experience.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment for staff and guests.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
• Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues.
• Experience with food preparation or banquet service is a plus but not required.
