Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive Dishwasher (Kitchen Attendant)/Busser to join our team at Casa Palma Hotel & Bungalows. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow with us. The ideal candidate will have experience in restaurant settings, be ready for busy rushes but also be proactive during slower times to help the kitchen run smoothly.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with the following set schedule.

• Friday through Sunday with the potential to add on more days
• 10:00AM – 4:00PM

Duties

The Primary focus of this role is maintaining the flow and cleanliness of the kitchen”

• Actively dishwashing: cleaning dishes as needed to support the chef
• Kitchen Cleaning: Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment including polishing cups, plates and silverware as well as putting clean dishes away
• Bussing: Clearing dishes after guest leave, wiping tables, re-setting and sweeping around tables as needed to ensure a clean dining room
• More responsibilities may develop overtime.

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key!
• Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing, cleaning, and basic food handling.
• Experience in banquet or catering environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of food preparation or culinary processes can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings such as hotels or restaurants.
