Duties

• Efficiently clean dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment to uphold high sanitation standards
• Assist with bussing tables by clearing plates, silverware, and glassware promptly and courteously
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping, plating, or ingredient setup
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and organizing tables and chairs regularly
• Help with catering and banquet setups by transporting supplies and ensuring event spaces are tidy and ready
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene in all tasks
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow during busy service times

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food service standards and restaurant operations
• Experience in bussing, food preparation, or catering environments is preferred
• Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines diligently
• Excellent cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards
• Previous restaurant or hotel experience is a plus; culinary or kitchen experience is highly valued
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and servers
• Energetic attitude with a willingness to learn and support various hospitality functions
