Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the transportation and delivery of goods, ensuring that products reach their destination safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and experience in route driving or warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading of goods from the delivery vehicle.
• Ensure that all packages are delivered in good condition and on time.
• Help navigate routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks for moving heavy items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the delivery vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery status.
• Perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Skills

• Experience with moving and heavy lifting is essential.
• Familiarity with driving box trucks or vans, including manual transmission vehicles.
• Knowledge of route driving and navigation skills to optimize delivery efficiency.
• Previous experience as a courier or in warehouse settings is preferred.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and other relevant equipment safely.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
