We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Helper to join our flowers team. In this role, you will assist with the loading, unloading, and delivery of goods, ensuring that products reach customers safely and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading cargo from box trucks and commercial vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques.
• Support the delivery driver in route driving to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Help organize deliveries for efficient route planning and load distribution.
• Ensure all items are properly secured and handled with care to prevent damage during transit.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs.
• Maintain safety standards by adhering to traffic laws and company policies while driving or assisting in transit.
• Support warehouse activities such as moving inventory, organizing storage areas, and preparing goods for delivery.
• Help load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols are followed.
• Assist with documentation related to deliveries, including verifying delivery receipts and updating logs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service, warehouse operations, or delivery roles is preferred.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or <PERSON> driver certification is advantageous.
• Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles.
• Knowledge of route driving best practices and safe driving habits.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with moving equipment and handling cargo safely.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
