Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes; asssignments may originate from multiple warehouses
• Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
• Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic laws to meet delivery deadlines.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, heavy lifting, and organizing stock for dispatch.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and records of all shipments and deliveries.

Requirements

• Valid DOT certification and a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred.
• Prior Experience with Fedex Ground Delivery is strongly preferred
• Proven delivery driver experience with familiarity in route driving and customer service.
• Ability to operate box trucks with manual transmission; forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus.
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting, moving items, and handling cargo efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in load & unload procedures.
• Prior warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory handling processes.
