Duties

• Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks and <PERSON> drivers to deliver products to customers and business locations.
• Load and unload shipments using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules.
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing friendly service and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of routes driven, loads transported, and delivery confirmations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist in warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory, moving stock, and preparing shipments for dispatch.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong understanding of route driving and time management.
• Excellent customer service skills to create positive interactions with clients during deliveries.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently.
• Strong driving skills with a clean record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles preferred.
