Job Summary
As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing and educating young children in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. Your passion for early childhood education will shine as you create stimulating activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will work closely with children, families, and staff to foster a love of learning and ensure each child’s unique needs are met.

What you’ll do

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage exploration and creativity.
• Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere where children feel safe to express themselves.
• Monitor and assess children’s progress in various developmental areas, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience that promotes teamwork and communication.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
• Support children with special needs or disabilities through tailored activities and individualized attention.
• Maintain open communication with families regarding their child’s development and daily activities.

Basic qualifications

• Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized learning environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Background in early childhood education or related field.
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience in special education or working with children with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support diverse learning needs.
