Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver packages across designated routes.
• Load and unload shipments efficiently using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring cargo safety and security.
• Follow planned delivery routes accurately, adjusting as needed for traffic or weather conditions to meet delivery deadlines.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and document all deliveries accurately in company systems.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving goods within the facility, and supporting team members as needed.

Experience

• Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred; familiarity with route driving enhances efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely during load & unload activities.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks or similar equipment is essential.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations including moving items with forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving certification is advantageous.
