Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to deliver packages along assigned routes.
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
• Navigate route driving with precision, adhering to traffic laws and company policies to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting recipients professionally, answering questions, and addressing concerns courteously.
• Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and complete all necessary documentation accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift to ensure optimal operation.
• Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding route progress, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries.

Experience

• Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route planning and navigation.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations including load & unload procedures and heavy lifting techniques.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to driving, moving heavy items, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse situations professionally.
• Prior experience in courier services or route driving roles preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
