Job Description: Cook & Server – Poolhouse

We are seeking a talented, versatile, and hospitality-driven Cook & Server to join our Poolhouse team. This unique role blends culinary execution with guest-facing service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both cooking and creating meaningful guest experiences. You’ll play a key role in delivering thoughtful, high-quality food and warm, personalized service in an intimate, boutique hotel setting.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute high-quality dishes that align with our culinary standards, using fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients
Ensure consistency, precision, and care in plating, presentation, and flavor
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safety-compliant kitchen at all times
Serve guests in the Poolhouse dining space, delivering friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service
Confidently describe menu items, answer questions, and make thoughtful food and beverage recommendations
Assist with beverage service, including wine, beer, and cocktails as needed
Provide seamless room service, poolside service, and courtside service when required
Support overall Poolhouse operations by jumping in where needed to ensure a smooth guest experience
Uphold the welcoming, elevated, yet relaxed atmosphere The Frenchie is known for
Qualifications:

Previous experience cooking in a professional kitchen, preferably in boutique hospitality, farm-to-table, or fine dining
Comfortable working in a guest-facing role with strong communication and service skills
Solid understanding of culinary fundamentals, food safety, and presentation
Ability to multitask and transition smoothly between kitchen and service responsibilities
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
Team-oriented, adaptable, and calm under pressure
ServSafe and TABC certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
