The Hilton Connie & Conrad Award winning, Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte Airport, is offering an exciting opportunity for a friendly, energetic, dependable, guest-focused individual to work as a Hotel Cook who is available to work weekends.
JOB DESCRIPTION
What will I be doing?
As a Cook, you are responsible for preparing and cooking food. You will greet and deliver excellent Guest and Member experience. A Cook will also be required to maintain a clean, sanitized working area and follow the local Heath Department Guidelines. We prefer the Cook attendant to be Serv-safe certified, but not required at time of hire. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Maintaining a clean, sanitized work area at all times
- Prepare and cook food
- Display and serve food and beverage items to follow the CDC Guidelines
- Wash and store dishes
- Unpack Food Orders, properly date and store in it’s designated area
- Dispose of food, waste and recycling accordingly
- Clean tables, sweep, vacuum and mop your department
- Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
- Be environmentally aware
- Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
