Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meals in a fast-paced full breakfast buffet environment. This role involves preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast items, as well as preparing and cooking omelettes. while ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. The Cook will deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines, including proper food handling techniques.
  • Participate in kitchen operations, including prep work, cooking, plating, and cleaning.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a food service or culinary role is preferred, particularly in restaurants or catering environments.
  • Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions accurately.
  • A passion for culinary arts and a desire to continuously learn and improve cooking skills.
