Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all construction activities related to the programme, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Lead and supervise the site supervision team and monitor contractor performance, progress, and resource deployment.
  • Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, utility providers, and authorities to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate construction risks, resolve site issues, and support timely decision making.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and support the successful testing, commissioning, and handover of works.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the management of design and/or construction of major infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager on at least one project of similar size and complexity.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary construction and site supervision teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management, contract administration, quality assurance, and health and safety requirements.
  • Middle East experience is highly advantageous.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional accreditation is highly desirable.
