Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Foreman to supervise daily site operations and ensure construction activities are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will coordinate workers, monitor project progress, and work closely with site engineers, subcontractors, and project managers to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
• Assign tasks and manage construction workers, subcontractors, and skilled trades.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Monitor work progress and ensure projects are completed according to schedule.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and workforce requirements.
• Inspect work to ensure accuracy and quality before completion.
• Report daily progress, workforce attendance, and site issues to the Project Manager or Site Engineer.
• Resolve on-site problems and coordinate with engineers and consultants when necessary.
• Conduct toolbox talks and promote a safe working environment.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of the construction site.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the construction industry, including at least 2 years in a Foreman or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and prioritize work effectively.
• Good understanding of construction safety regulations and quality standards.
• Proficient in preparing daily reports and coordinating with project stakeholders.
• Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.
