The Compliance Training Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a Compliance Management Program (CMP) for the Bank that reasonably ensures compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations (LRR), addresses associated risks of harm to consumers and customers and integrates Regulatory Compliance into the day-to-day responsibilities of its management, employees, and contractors.
The Compliance Training Manager is a visible role reporting to the Head of Banking Compliance and is responsible for leading the management of the Banks Regulatory Compliance Training Program and its related maintenance and administration designed to provide the Business Units (BU) education on the LRR applicable to their processes. This includes but is not limited to prioritizing work, reviewing work product, providing periodic updates to Compliance Leaders on matters requiring escalation and assistance, and assisting in work product production.
The Compliance Training Manager is expected to have and maintain a mature, broad, and deep knowledge of the Banks BU processes and LRR that pertain to them, serve as the subject matter expert regarding the Banks Regulatory Compliance Training Program and can deliver sound independent judgment regarding technical rules and BU process applicability.
