Full job description

Provides customer service to patients visiting or calling the medical clinic including scheduling, greeting, registering. Provides check-out and Cashier duties. Works with both the public and co-workers in professional manner. Supports clinic staff with clerical duties including filing, preparation of medical records and sending correspondence. Maintains provider schedules.

Experience and Education:

Minimum:

  • Computer/data entry experience required.

Preferred:

  • One-year medical office experience preferred. Knowledge of insurance payors desirable. Strong clerical skills and basic accounting skills required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required

  • Personal technology device to download DUO application to enable access to hospital email by multi-factor authentication.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service, use of telephone, fax, copier, credit card machine and computer including Window
  • Mathematics and record keeping including alphabetizing; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
