Full job description

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Clinic Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the clinic to support high standards of patient care and infection control. This role requires a strong commitment to cleanliness, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established cleaning and health & safety procedures. Freshers are welcome to apply.

Clinic Cleaner – Roles & Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize all clinic areas, including waiting rooms, consultation rooms, treatment rooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces according to the clinic’s cleaning schedule.
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste, including medical and general waste, following health and safety regulations.
  • Restock cleaning supplies, hand soap, paper towels, tissues, and other hygiene products as needed.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean, sanitized, and fully stocked throughout the day.
  • Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors, and other fixtures to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Follow infection control protocols and use cleaning chemicals safely and correctly.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and report faults promptly.
  • Support deep cleaning activities and special cleaning projects as required.
  • Adhere to workplace health, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with clinic staff to ensure a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for patients and visitors.
  • Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or healthcare facility cleaning is preferred.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required.
