1. Job Purpose

To ensure the community premises—including common areas, pathways, amenities, and facilities—are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation, providing a safe and pleasant environment for residents and visitors.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Cleaning Duties

• Clean and sanitize common areas including lobbies, corridors, staircases, and lifts.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as required.
• Remove dust, debris, and litter from public areas, walkways, and outdoor spaces.
• Empty and clean waste bins; replace bin liners.
• Clean glass doors, windows (reachable height), notice boards, and signages.
• Wipe down handrails, door handles, and high-touch surfaces.

Outdoor & Community Area Cleaning

• Sweep and maintain cleanliness of outdoor pathways, parking areas, playgrounds, and gardens.
• Remove leaves, sand, and general debris from open areas.
• Maintain cleanliness around pools, gyms, and recreational areas (non-technical cleaning).
• Report any pest issues or hygiene concerns to the Supervisor.

Washroom & Facility Cleaning

• Clean and disinfect toilets, washbasins, mirrors, and counters in community/public restrooms.
• Replenish consumables including toilet paper, soap, and tissue.

Waste Management

• Collect and transport waste to designated disposal points.
• Segregate waste where required according to community standards.
• Ensure garbage rooms are clean, tidy, and odor-controlled.

Equipment & Materials Handling

• Use cleaning machinery and tools safely (buffing machine, vacuum, mops, brooms).
• Report damaged tools or low stock of consumables to the Supervisor.

Customer Service

• Provide friendly, courteous assistance to residents when approached.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior at all times.

Health & Safety

• Follow all HSE guidelines, wearing PPE as required.
• Immediately report hazards, spills, or unsafe conditions.
• Understand and comply with MSDS information for cleaning chemicals.

3. Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years cleaning experience (community, residential, retail, or FM setting preferred).
• Basic understanding of cleaning tools, chemicals, and safety practices.
• Ability to read simple instructions in English (preferred).

4. Skills & Competencies

• Good communication and teamwork.
• Attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor conditions.
• Reliability and punctuality.

5. Working Conditions

• Shift-based work including weekends/public holidays as per rota.
• Indoor and outdoor duties.
• Uniform and PPE must be worn at all times.
