We are seeking a dedicated and reliable CDL Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards on the road.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload products at designated locations, ensuring accuracy in deliveries.
• Utilize warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient handling of goods.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
• Manage delivery schedules and routes effectively to optimize time management.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment handling, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing schedules.
• Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and delivery verification.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience.
