Cashier / Food Runners

Hiring friendly cashiers and food runners for full time Spring/Summer positions in an award-winning and locally owned restaurant on Pensacola Beach.

Pay is $10.98 per hour plus tips

Cashier/Food Runner Responsibilities

* Greet customers warmly and process their orders accurately using Toast POS , ensuring smooth transactions and cash handling.

* Deliver food promptly to tables or designated areas, maintaining high levels of customer service and satisfaction.

* Assist with food safety practices, sanitation, and proper food handling to uphold health regulations.

* Support bussing and cleaning duties to maintain a clean, organized dining area that promotes sanitation and efficiency.

* Upsell menu items by engaging customers with product knowledge, increasing sales and enhancing the guest experience.

* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service, accurate cashiering, and efficient food delivery.

Requirements

* Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential.

* Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is a plus; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are necessary.

* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

* Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

* Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.

* Bartending experience a plus

Also hiring high-volume experienced line cooks for an award-winning, locally owned restaurant on Pensacola Beach. Experience required. References will be checked. Pay depends on experience.

Line Cook

Responsibilities

* Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies

* Prepare food for service

* Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

* Clean up station

* Stock inventory appropriately

* Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

* Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards

* Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

* Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, supporting the kitchen team in food preparation tasks.

* Experience in culinary roles or kitchen work is advantageous; restaurant experience is highly valued.
