Duties

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions, handle cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with precision.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections or demos.
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are attractive and accessible.
• Conduct product demos when appropriate to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging informed purchasing decisions.
• Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, assisting with stocking tasks, and supporting inventory counts to keep the sales floor well-stocked.

Experience

• Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Supervising experience in retail or customer service settings is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team collaboration.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage customers confidently.
