Job Title: Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Location: The UPS Store – [3794 – South Holland]
Reports To: Store Manager/Assistant Manager
Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at The UPS Store delivers world-class customer service to all retail and business customers. The CSR is responsible for providing prompt, efficient, and friendly assistance with shipping, packaging, printing, mailboxes, and other business services offered at The UPS Store. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide outstanding service by determining their needs and offering solutions.
- Process shipments using UPS and other carrier systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Assist customers with packaging, printing, copying, faxing, scanning, notary, and mailbox services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
- Accurately handle cash register transactions, credit card payments, and daily sales reconciliation.
- Promote store products and services to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking, and supply ordering.
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a professional, solution-focused manner.
- Follow established operational policies and procedures for safety, security, and compliance.
- Support team members and contribute to overall store success.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn POS/shipping systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends.
