Job Summary
LPP Bakery Café is seeking a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented team member to join our team. This role combines barista service, light food preparation, and cashier responsibilities. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding our offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness in the café area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment, adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in a café or retail environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• A genuine interest in coffee preparation and an eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
