Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Restaurant Cashier to join our team in Dubai. The Restaurant Cashier will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately, handling cash and electronic payments, maintaining records of sales, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with billing inquiries.
• Process cash, credit card, debit card, and digital payment transactions accurately.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance it at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Operate the restaurant’s Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
• Record daily sales and prepare basic cash reports.
• Coordinate with waitstaff, kitchen staff, and management regarding customer orders and payments.
• Handle customer complaints or payment-related concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and front-of-house area.
• Follow company policies, financial procedures, and UAE regulations regarding cash handling and customer service.
• Assist with takeaway and delivery order payments when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
• Strong numerical and basic accounting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• English proficiency required; Arabic or other languages is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in UAE restaurants or hospitality establishments.
• Knowledge of food delivery platforms and online payment systems.
• Basic understanding of restaurant operations and customer service standards.

Salary: As per company policy and experience, plus applicable benefits under UAE labor law.

Pay: AED3,500.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
