Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier, where you will be the friendly face that ensures every customer’s shopping experience is smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. In this energetic role, you will handle transactions efficiently, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to a welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges with speed and precision
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos when needed to enhance their shopping experience
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments responsibly while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures
• Upsell related products or promotions to increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area, including stocking shelves and merchandising products for easy access
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and participating in regular stock checks

Qualifications

• Prior cashiering experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette

Pay: $15.50 – $17.00 per hour
