Full job description

A Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures, fixtures, and furniture in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials.
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, partitions, and furniture.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Repair and maintain existing wooden structures and fixtures.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
• Ensure work is completed according to project requirements and safety standards.
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction methods.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good measurement and mathematical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.

Pay: From AED1,500.00 per day
