Comfort Keepers of Johns Creek is seeking compassionate, dedicated, responsible, and reliable individuals to join our team in the role of caregivers that are willing to work around pets if needed and have experience with an Electric Hoyer lift. Our caregivers working in homes and care facilities do more than provide great care they change the quality of life of seniors and help keep them independent and safe for longer. We deliver a unique brand of high-quality and compassionate in-home care through carefully selected, screened, and trained professional Caregivers, Home Health Aides, and Certified Nurse Assistants.

Caregiver Job Responsibilities:

• Perform duties outlined in the plan of care
• Communicate with the office and the client’s family
• Assist our senior clients with companionship and personal care services
• Provide meal preparation services
• Dressing & grooming
• Light housekeeping, laundry, organizing incoming mail
• Grocery shopping
• Run errands
• Transfer and provide transportation to the doctor, beauty salon, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Caregiver Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must have reliable vehicle and automobile insurance
• Must have Current TB Skin Test/Chest X-Ray
• Must have Current Certifications in CPR and First Aid
• Pass Background Checks: Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record, Professional and Personal Reference Checks
• Willing and able to pass drug test
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Must successfully complete Comfort Keepers caregiver orientation and pass all mandated testing
• Must be genuinely concerned about helping people and have high moral standards of honesty and integrity
• Must Live in 30 mile or 40 minute drive to Johns Creek, GA

Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
