Job Description:
The agent is responsible for communicating with customers, processing rentals and services, answering phone calls, resolving overdue rentals, responding to customer questions and complaints, adding rental data in system (Node) and checking fines on RTA system for customers and communicating with drivers for customer delivery & pick-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, complete necessary rental or parking information, disclose rates, terms and conditions of rental and obtain customer signatures while using effective techniques to encourage customers to utilize service options.
- Receive telephone calls and handle customer-related issues; direct other phone calls to appropriate personnel or take messages on WhatsApp and other methods.
- Complete, review and submit various reports to supervisor.
- Maintain and update rental agreement files; contract and notify customers of overdue rental vehicles and inquire as to the expected date of return; process rental extensions.
- Enter and maintain information in location logs.
- Complete Car exchange requests in the computer system or manually prior releasing the replacement vehicle.
- Perform related responsibilities as assigned or required.
Skills:
- Previous work experience in (car rental) companies or auto rental offices and car rental software knowledge (Node preferably)
- 2-3 years’ experience of working in customer service and dealing with clients.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- Ability to demonstrate effective iinterpersonal skillswith customers.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to recognize the opportunity to present upgrades to customers.
- Ability to type and perform data entry accurately.
- Ability to process all paperwork according to policies and procedures.
- Teamwork spirit and positive attitude.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
- Ability to present a professional, enthusiastic attitude through effective communication skills to promote a positive impression to customers and employees.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with Node, RTA, Excel and other office software is a plus
