TITLE:Cafeteria General Worker

TYPE OF POSITION:Part-time (3.95 hours/day, 19.75 hours/week); anticipated immediate start; salary per collective bargaining agreement (range $18.04-$20.30/hour), commensurate with experience

LOCATION: HighSchool, Hopkinton, Massachusetts

AREA OF CONSIDERATION:All qualified candidates

The Cafeteria General Worker assists in the preparation, presentation, and clean-up of school meals.

DUTIES:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• To serve food to students and staff, according to instructions;
• To clean any area of kitchen according to sanitary regulations;
• To store all food properly;
• To follow all safety instructions when using equipment;
• Other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be considered qualified for the position ofCafeteria General Worker, candidates must have/be:

• High school graduate or GED preferred;
• Ability to read basic operating and use instructions;
• Ability to give and receive instructions and information;
• Basic knowledge of food service and sanitation practices;
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Food Service Director or Superintendent may find appropriate.
