Full job description
The following Core Responsibilities represent the primary duties and key priorities of this position. They are grouped into two categories: Job Functions and Professionalism and Style Expectations.
A Physical Requirements section follows, outlining expectations applicable to all positions.
Each responsibility is assigned a weight indicating the percentage of the job it represents. For performance evaluations, the Core Responsibilities account for 90% of the overall score, while the Professionalism and Style Expectations make up the remaining 10%.
Availability including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
Job Function
Dining Room Support and Operations
Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain dining room flow and guest satisfaction.
Assist servers by delivering water, bread, and other items to tables as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including floors, chairs, and service stations.
Remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils and transport them to the dishwashing area.
Restock service stations with necessary supplies such as silverware, napkins, and condiments.
Assist with polishing glassware, rolling silverware, and preparing the dining area for service.
Ensure all tables are properly set according to restaurant standards.
Support timely and efficient service during peak meal periods.
Monitor dining areas and respond quickly to spills, debris, or guest needs.
Follow all standard operating procedures related to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
Assist with opening and closing side work duties.
Respond promptly to supervisor and server requests.
Follow all restaurant policies and procedures.
Attend all required meetings and trainings.
Assist with additional front-of-house or operational duties as assigned.
