Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence in the Electrical Services / Contracting industry. This key role is focused on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and securing contracts for electrical construction, maintenance, and service projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial and electrical markets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, property managers, developers, and facility managers.
  • Generate leads through networking, industry events, and strategic outreach.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, bids, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with field service teams to ensure accurate project scoping and pricing.
  • Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, client meetings, and community events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-7+ years of business development or sales experience, preferably in electrical contracting, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of electrical services, construction processes, or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) industries.
  • Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and understand project specifications (Preferred).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
