Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Breakfast/Lunch Cook to join our high volume restaurant in amazing Door County, Wisconsin (AKA The Cape Cod of the Mid-West) established in 1970!

In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious, high-quality breakfast and lunch dishes that delight our guests and set the tone for their day. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, attention to detail, and culinary expertise will contribute to creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your cooking skills in a fast-paced environment while ensuring food safety and exceptional service standards are upheld at all times.

Shifts available: 6 days per week 6:30am – 2:30pm

Duties

  • Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients with precision.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
  • Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently to prevent contamination or spoilage.
  • Serve breakfast and lunch dishes with professionalism, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in similar food service environments.
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on breakfast or lunch menu items
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures, kitchen safety standards, and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with menu planning, meal preparation is preferred.
