Prevent waste and assist with Cost Control
Work close with night audit to project use based on occupancy.
Complete inventory and let management know of items running low
Understand First In First Out procedures
Complete food waste logs daily to track food spoilage, waste and any food not prepared to
standards.
Verify all food items are prepared and in the correct area on time and refill as needed.
Check food before placing in guest area to verify appearance, temperature and proportions are correct to ensure food meets quality standards.
Be a Team Player
Work as part of the team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
Assist with deep cleaning projects.
Wash, dry, fold and bundle hotel linens and towels during down times and/or as needed.
Complete shift work checklist as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
