Breakfast Chef
The Wilburton Inn is a destination resort and wedding venue with a historic mansion and on site lodging for up to 100 guests. We are looking to hire a part- time breakfast chef. to assist with breakfast on Sundays (and a few Saturdays) from about 7 am to noon, mid May through October. Additional work days/hours are available as part of the kitchen and catering team. Please note any special skills: for example — pastry skills, cake baking, carving station, salad station, serving experience, bartending.

We are looking for a chef or cook who is calm and professional, and enjoys working as a team with the front of house. You will be cooking weekend breakfasts, usually a buffet, for 50-100 guests. You should be comfortable making delicious pancakes, quiche, baked items, muffins etc for a crowd. We like to adapt recipes for seasonal ingredients. Presentation is important.

You must have reliable transportation, be extremely dependable and able to cook from a recipe and improvise. We appreciate a good work ethic, honesty and flexibility, and a sense of humor.

Position requires the following:

• Prepping and cooking
• Clean up
• Shopping on occasion to pick up a few items
• Menu planning & light costing
• Ordering
