Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Breakfast Buffet Host/Hostess to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest experiences during breakfast service at our hotel or restaurant. As a Breakfast Buffet Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for ensuring guests feel valued and comfortable while maintaining smooth operation of the breakfast service area.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive for breakfast service, creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Assist guests with any questions about the buffet offerings
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the buffet area, ensuring food presentation is appealing and replenished promptly
• Monitor buffet stations to ensure food safety standards are met and items are stocked appropriately
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food service and address any issues that arise during breakfast hours
• Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/hostess, especially within food service or restaurant environments, is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is advantageous
• Guest relations skills are essential
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Friendly, approachable personality with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work mornings during breakfast hours; availability on weekends is essential
