Job Summary
The Fairfield Inn-London, KY is looking for a full-time breakfast attendant. Breakfast attendants begin work daily before 6am and oversee the stock, production and food safety of our morning complimentary breakfast. Additionally, this job requires basic cleaning skills of those working areas.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items with efficiency and attention to quality, including hot dishes, pastries, fruits, and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including food stations, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and plating meals while adhering to food safety standards.
- Buss tables, clear dishes, and assist with guest needs to promote a seamless dining experience.
- Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain compliance with health regulations to ensure guest safety.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by greeting guests warmly, managing phone etiquette, and fostering positive guest relations.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Previous kitchen experience or food service background; experience in breakfast or hotel settings is a plus.
- Preferred: Strong food preparation skills including basic cooking techniques
- Preferred: Knowledge of food safety practices and dietary considerations to ensure safe meal handling.
- REQUIRED: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently during busy morning hours.
- REQUIRED: The ability to be at work when scheduled, this position requires a start time of 5:30am daily. End time varies based on needs, a typical end time is 11am daily. Weekend availability is required due to business demands.
