Become part of the team at Drummond Island Resort & Conference Center – one of Michigan’s most unique destination resorts. Our 2,200-acre waterfront property features a 40-room log Lodge, a collection of spacious and luxurious waterfront cabins, championship golf at The Rock, The Ridge ORV Park, sporting clays, paintball, marina services, trail systems, Pins Bar & Grill, our lively and casual gathering place, and Bayside Dining, our signature waterfront restaurant and banquet venue hosting weddings, group events, and special celebrations throughout the season.

We are currently seeking seasonal part-time, energetic, hardworking, and dependable team member for our Breakfast Attendant / Public Space Attendant. Our positions are available from May through mid-October. Housing is not available for this position.

The Breakfast Attendant position is a first point of contact when guests wake each morning and come to our 2nd floor Lobby area for our Complimentary Continental Breakfast. A warm, energetic greeting is essential and sets the stage for a great guest experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate genuine hospitality for an exceptional dining experience by making every guest feel welcome
• Engage guests in conversation; share resort and island information with guests.
• Prepare and set the Continental Breakfast each morning
• Keep the Continental Breakfast clean, neat and tidy, and adequately stocked throughout service times.
• Clean the breakfast area and 2nd floor lobby space thoroughly at the conclusion of each breakfast period.
• Clear tables for service, clearing dishes and glassware and resetting as needed
• Perform other “Public Space” light general cleaning duties during the second half of the 7 hour shift – in the lobby space, Lodge stairwells and walkways, fitness room, and other nearby buildings. When needed, provide support to housekeeping and laundry teams. Provide light maintenance of outdoor plants.
