Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Helper/Driver to join our dynamic delivery team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck while assisting with loading, unloading, and delivering goods to various locations. Duties

• Safely operate a box truck, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving and deliveries
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo using heavy lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed
• Load and secure shipments properly to prevent damage during transit
• Deliver goods promptly to customers’ locations, providing professional customer service throughout each interaction
• Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete necessary documentation accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of the truck to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered on the job
• The regular work days are M-F, consisting of 1 or 2 overnights a week in MT and 5 surrounding states.

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving heavy lifting and moving goods
• Strong knowledge of route driving and commercial driving regulations for box trucks or similar vehicles
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely
• Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, moving cargo, and performing manual tasks throughout the day
• Familiarity with load & unload procedures and safety protocols for transportation professionals
• Ability to pass a DOT background and drug test.
