<Duties>

  • Record and process journal entries accurately within multiple accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Quicken.
  • Perform detailed account reconciliation, including bank statements, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet items to ensure data integrity.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to verify cash balances and identify discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings to ensure timely compliance with governmental regulations.
  • Support budgeting activities by analyzing expenses and revenue trends to aid strategic planning.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all financial transactions, journal entries, and account analyses for audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.

<Skills>

  • Proficiency in accounting software in QuickBooks, and other financial management tools.
  • Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles including GAAP and governmental accounting standards.
  • Experience with double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and journal entries.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes, bank reconciliation techniques, and payroll management.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations related to financial reporting and payroll taxes.
  • Ability to perform detailed account analysis and balance sheet reconciliation accurately.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; proficiency in 10-key typing for data entry tasks.
  • Effective communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating across teams.
