Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and upselling items to enhance their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring timely delivery
• Serve drinks and food efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area to ensure a sanitary environment
• Use OpenTable or other reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently during busy hours
• Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols is essential
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Host/hostess experience or bartending background is a plus but not required
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing are necessary
