  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently.
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are maintained throughout service.
  • Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with general cleanliness to uphold sanitation and food safety regulations.
  • Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing dishes.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours.
  • Experience with serving, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or food handling enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and teamwork.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for hospitality venues.
