Summary:
The Beverage Assistant Manager at Rosen Hotels & Resorts is responsible for ensuring maximum customer service and satisfaction by maintaining high standards of quality and service in accordance with Company Standards. They oversee and coordinate the daily operational requirements for all beverage outlets, ensuring efficient, profitable operations. The Beverage Assistant Manager Outlets supervises the sale of beverage items and upholds the company’s drug-free, tobacco-free, and nicotine-free policies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing daily beverage operations to ensure consistent service, quality, and compliance with Rosen Hotels & Resorts standards.
- Support the Beverage Manager by helping guide, supervise, and coordinate associates engaged in the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain high standards of quality, sanitation, and safety by routinely observing operations and enforcing liquor laws and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including estimating, ordering, and monitoring beer, wine, liquor, and other beverage items.
- Help control beverage costs by minimizing waste and supporting efficient stock management practices.
- Ensure accuracy in cash handling and POS transactions, following established financial controls.
- Support sales initiatives by assisting with promotional programs, special events, and in house activations.
- Train, coach, and motivate beverage associates on service standards, responsible alcohol service, and operational procedures.
- Foster a positive, guest focused, and team oriented work environment.
- Collaborate with leadership and other departments to promote smooth operations and effective communication.
- Deliver warm, proactive, and professional guest service by anticipating needs and resolving concerns promptly.
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance consistent with the Rosen Hotels brand.
- Maintain scheduling flexibility, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and extended hours based on business needs.
- Uphold the company’s drug-free, tobacco-free, and nicotine-free policies within the workplace.
- All other duties as assigned
Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience required.
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience required, preferably in a bar setting.
- Oversee daily food & beverage operations to ensure consistent service, quality, and compliance with Rosen Hotels & Resorts standards to include full operational oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management for multiple budgets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift to oversee operations effectively.
- Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
