This position entails a combination of serving with occasional bartending responsibilities. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, reliable, and a punctual individual possessing strong bartending and organizational abilities. Must have previous serving & bartending experience.

Gaston Brewing Company is located in historic downtown Fayetteville on Hay Street.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide a great guest experience through menu presentation and suggestive selling
• Serve multiple tables of guests simultaneously as determined by management
• Record Guest orders and enter them in the Point-of-Sale system in a timely manner
• Refill drinks and deliver food as soon as necessary or available via tray service
• Perform money transactions, return accurate change, and close checks in Point-of-Sale system
• Check guests’ identification and serve alcoholic drinks adhering to state and local regulations
• Must be able to maintain a friendly demeanor during periods of high volume.
• Anticipate customer needs and maintain a customer first attitude.
• Prefer candidates have knowledge of craft beer
• Perform opening and closing side duties as assigned (e.g., roll silverware, set up/close soda machines, stock/fill condiments, mop, sweep, etc.)
