If you are looking to begin your career in bartending, or are passionate about beer and barbeque, come apply to be our new bartender for TWAIN: The Missouri Taproom.

We are looking for positive, flexible, and passionate Bartenders to join us in this next adventure. During the onboarding process, you will experience a week long training session, involving menu tastings, steps of service training, as well as cleaning and reorganizing for successful service.

Availability requirements:

• must be available for two day shifts per week, at minimum
• must be available to work weekends, including home football games

Bartender Requirements:

• The ability to converse with a wide variety of guests and coworkers, as well as offering a positive outlook during stressful situations
• Be flexible, adapt to schedule changes, menu changes, etc.
• Fitness – you’ll be on your feet most of the day with lots of bending and kneeling
• Strength – sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull big objects like barrels and crates up to 50lbs (23 kg)
• As well as meeting local laws on food handling and serving alcohol, you’ll be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language
• Be articulate; a great communicator, you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
• Willingness to be a team player
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Obtain a Boone County Food Handler Card
• Obtain a State of Missouri Alcohol Responsibility Training Certification
