Job Summary
At OTH Hotels & Resorts, we believe genuine hospitality doesn’t follow a script—it flows from the heart. As a Barista/Bistro Attendant, you craft more than beverages—you create moments. From the first warm greeting to the final handoff of a perfectly made drink, you help set the tone for a guest experience that feels personal, effortless, and memorable.

Your role blends artistry, efficiency, and connection. Whether you’re pulling espresso shots, preparing grab and go items, or engaging guests in friendly conversation, you bring comfort and consistency to every shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare high quality beverages including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty items following recipes and brand standards.
  • Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and create a welcoming café environment.
  • Operate the POS system to process payments, room charges, and mobile or to go orders with accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including equipment, counters, condiment stations, and seating areas.
  • Restock inventory such as syrups, coffee beans, milk, pastries, and paper goods throughout the shift.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures, including proper handling of equipment and ingredients.
  • Communicate effectively with fellow baristas, supervisors, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with opening, mid shift, and closing duties as assigned.
  • Support café flow by preparing grab and go items, assisting with light food prep, or helping guests with questions or recommendations.
  • Uphold all company and brand standards related to guest service, safety, and financial procedures.

Who You Are

  • A people person who enjoys creating warm, memorable moments for guests.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast paced café environment.
  • Comfortable operating espresso equipment (training provided).
  • Confident handling money and using POS systems.
  • A clear communicator—friendly, patient, and attentive.
  • Able to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Flexible with scheduling, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior hospitality, retail, or guest service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable working independently while being a strong part of a team.
