Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
  • Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages, including espresso-based drinks, following standardized recipes.
  • Operate coffee equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and blenders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and use the POS system accurately.
  • Educate customers on the menu and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous barista or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills.
  • Passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about coffee preparation.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
