Responsibilities

  • Prepare banquet and event spaces by setting up tables, chairs, linens, and decorative elements according to event specifications
  • Ensure all areas are clean, organized, and ready for guest arrival by performing thorough cleaning and floor care tasks
  • Assist with the transportation and placement of furniture, equipment, and supplies needed for events
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness by performing janitorial duties including trash removal, surface cleaning, and floor maintenance
  • Collaborate with catering and event staff to ensure timely setup and breakdown of events
  • Conduct routine inspections of the setup area to uphold safety standards and cleanliness protocols
  • Support ongoing custodial activities to keep the venue pristine before, during, and after events

Requirements

  • Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or hospitality environment preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning equipment is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and organization
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks efficiently
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting event operations
  • Experience in janitorial or custodial roles within hospitality or commercial settings is a plus
  • Commitment to upholding safety standards and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
