Job Summary

Duties

• Assist with cake decorating and pastry presentation to ensure visually appealing products that meet quality standards
• Support food production processes, including food preparation, baking, and cooking tasks
• Help with food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and compliant kitchen environment
• Package baked goods and other food items efficiently for retail or catering purposes
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and assisting with orders
• Maintain organized workstations, including cleaning utensils, tools, and work areas regularly
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and uphold high standards of culinary excellence

Requirements

• Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts is highly preferred
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food handling techniques
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen hygiene practices
• Previous experience in food production or catering environments is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced kitchen settings while maintaining attention to detail
• Kitchen experience within the food industry or restaurant setting is desirable
