Full job description

SUMMARY

Responsible for preparing and serving deli products to patrons.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for taking patron’s orders, making sandwiches, side orders and serving beverages in a timely manner.
  • Stock and rotate Deli items throughout your shift.
  • Keep the Deli clean and organized according to set standards.
  • Assorted prep work as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.


REPORTING LINE

You will report directly to the Deli Manager then to the Director of Food & Beverage.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
  • The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
  • Possess the ability to operate a cash register.
  • The ability to work in a fast –paced environment.
  • You will need to be available to work all shifts.
  • You must be at least 17 years old.
  • You also must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.


EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not necessary.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES

Helpful to be TIPS and Food Handlers certified, if not training will be provided.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

You will need to be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. The ability to push, pull, kneel, twist, bend, carry and lift up to 25 lbs.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
